Xiaomi took an unexpected step in the Android 14-based MIUI 14 beta version that it launched in recent months. It stopped MIUI 14 beta tests of popular devices, including Redmi models. These models include devices such as Xiaomi 11 series and Redmi K40S.
MIUI 15 Beta Still on the Way
Xiaomi has disappointed users who wanted access to new Android features ahead of the stable release. Starting in September, 6 devices will not receive updates for the MIUI 14 beta based on Android 14. But the good news is that they will continue to be supported again with the MIUI 15 beta.
These include beloved devices like the Xiaomi 11, 11 Pro and Redmi K40S. The smartphones, which provide users with the opportunity to test the latest interface of Android and MIUI, will not be supported in the MIUI 14 beta after September. This means that users will have to wait until the MIUI 15 beta arrives.
If you’re using one of the phones on the list, you won’t receive any new updates until the MIUI 15 beta is released. Also, don’t forget that you can switch to the stable version by leaving the beta program.
